I know this will sound like a dumb question to most, but I am new to *nix OS's - If my document root is something like /home/myname/dir/ (as per phpinfo()), and I put my include files in /home/myname/includes/, is that actually outside of the document root, or is anything under /home/myname/ actually the document root?
