Hi, Both problems can be solved with php directives in httpd.conf or in .htaccess. You can just put php_value safe_mode "off" or php_value engine "off" into <Directory> definitions in httpd.conf to restrict only for some directories or into <Virtual> for virtual servers. (Of course in htaccsess you can only restrict for directories) Arpi
