[PHP] encrypt and decrypt functions kaput

HI Folks,

I'm trying to use the encrypt and decrypt functions in PHP3.  I get a
fatal error "Call to unsupported or undefined function encrypt() ...

   Is this a configuration issue or I'm I doing something wrong?
