I have a problem I can't quite figure out. I recently upgraded PHP from
4.0.6 to 4.1.0.  I can no longer use auth-headers...

When I try to load a page with for instance:

if(!isset($PHP_AUTH_USER)) {
      header('WWW-Authenticate:  Basic realm="Admin Area"');
      header('HTTP/1.0 401 Unauthorized');
      echo 'Authorization Required.';
} else {
        echo "this is it";

I receive a "Page can not be displayed" error on the browser. When I look
at the httpd/error file, I see the following error:

[Wed Dec 19 21:48:27 2001] [notice] child pid 4996 exit signal Segmentation

I can't seem to figure out what this means...something has gone haywire, but
I can't tell what it is.

Anyone know what this is?
