After posting a similar message to the php-windows mailing list (and getting no definitive answer), I filed a bug report (http://bugs.php.net/?id=14854) which was marked as bogus with a suggestion to "ask support questions at [EMAIL PROTECTED]". I did (it's the message I'm replying to), but the question is still unanswered. Please don't get me wrong: I'm not complaining about not getting any replies, but I thought the comment above implied that this was not a bug but a (more or less) common problem, and someone would know how to solve it. Now, after perusing the documentation, searching the mailing lists archives, posting in two of them, and searching the web, I still have found no answers... Why then was my bug report marked as bogus?
