Ok time out...the problem was simple I had each of the functions one it's own line because it was simple to see. When I add code to the functions then I do make it as indicated and easier to read. The problem was that I did not realize the 80 character columns width. I apologize but did not think it was everyone's job to critisize. I appreciate the help, I really do. I will be sure to keep the 80 character width issue in mind when posting.
