Hi there, I do have some trouble installing gd2 and suse7.2 linux. I did already compile freetype, but now I do get an error I can not handle. Here is the message:
make install gcc -I. -I/usr/local/include/freetype2 -I/usr/include/X11 -I/usr/X11R6/inclu de/X11 -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/lib pngtogd.o -o pngtogd -L/usr/local/lib -L/usr/lib/X11 -L/usr/X11R6/lib -L/usr/lib ibgd.a -lz -lpng -ljpeg -lfreetype -lm gcc: libgd.a: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden make: *** [pngtogd] Error 1 I remember that someone said that on suse one file is somewhere else, but I do not remember where, and which.
