I'd recommend: http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/Announcement.html -- Apache 1.3.26 -and- http://www.php.net/release_4_2_2.php -- PHP 4.2.2 Both include the latest bug fixes and are the latest stable releases. I've been running these on a RedHat 7.1 box (64MB RAM, 225mHz Pentium), with MySQL as well for about 4 months without any problems that weren't my fault.
