Mod_ssl is part of the standard Apache2 distro now.

mod_ssl is also incompatible with apache 2.x according to www.modssl.org

Well, unless they hide the 2.x compatible version.

Plus mod_perl as far as I know has completely changed, so if you have
old mod_perl scripts they gotta convert.
