>From the browser window, I believe you can only upload individual files to the server... you can do multiples at once, but you can't (IMHO) upload an entire directory off your desktop THROUGH your browser, to the server.
You could .zip, .tar or .sit a folder of course, but then you'd have to uncompress on the server, which is possible for SOME compression types.
