You can now buy Crystal Reports that runs on non-windows platforms. Crystal Reports 9 advance has mult-platform version. But is not cheap, $1,900 US. (also only 3-thread, unlimited threaded reports cost 25,000 US per CPU)
Are you looking to put reports online, for users can run and view report through your site. Or do you want to just write some reports to run internally for yourself/company. If you just want to run the reports through the crystal report application itself. Just install MyODBC on a windows desktop, then install Crystal Report. (like someone else suggested) Of course if you server is window already you can install normal crystal report right on it, I am assume your MySQL server is not windows. Mark. "Denis L.
