You said yourself that you wanted to link to another part of the page. So does that mean a certain section of the current page or a section in a different page?
Either way when linking to another page you link by doing this: <a href="anotherpage.htm"> An anchor in the same page: <a href="#anchorname"> An anchor in a different page: <a href="anotherpage.htm#anchorname"> Just throw this into your php code.. whichever one you are going for.
