There should be a readme file in the directory for the apache2 api in the
source that details the changes you need to make. IIRC you need to
use --with-apxs2 instead of --with-apxs
Note that while I could get PHP to build with Apache 2, I could not get it
to serve more than 5 or 6 requests before tanking. (At least while running
with perchild MPM)
Also, you should either grab the CVS version of Apache or be prepared to
modify the PHP source to make it fit the slightly Apache older code that is
packaged for release as the beta.
