I am on linux if I install freetype, do I do it before installing gd? Does gd use other programs other than freetype to create images with normal fonts (not the default ugly font) such as arial and helvetica and what not?
installing freetype on linux is a mystery for me so I was curoius if I can find another solution? If not, which goes first? Freetype or gd? Does it matter which is installed first? Thanks
