You shoudln't have to do this, per the documentation, but reconfigure php
using --with-zlib.  and it will work.

Hi,
I have Linux Mandrake 8.1 with Apache1.3.24 and Mysql
3.23.49 and PHP4.1.2 and when I start httpd, it says
could not find libphp4.so, what can I do? the
istallation has turn correctly.
