I'm still getting the dreaded 500 errors installing the cgi version of php
4.2.1. My system is Win95 and Personal Web Server. InstallSheild didn't work
so I went to manual but still have same problems.

My php.exe file is in c:\php. I used the pws-php4cgi.reg to set the
registry. The contents of this file I changed to:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\w3svc\parameters\Scrip
t Map]
".php"="c:\\php\\php.exe"

Is the last line correct? .i.e. put everything in quotes and double slashes?

I double click this file and it updates the registry. Is that all I'm
suppose to do to the registry?
