I have a similar setup only I use PostgreSQL and though I started with
Mailman 2.0.13, I'm now on 2.1b3. mod_so.c is compiled into Apache on my
system, so I'm not sure what the difference is, except that I used
Apachetoolbox (http://www.apachetoolbox.com) to compile Apache & PHP &
such. I highly recommend it.. it's a great time saver!

Good luck, Tim--let me know how you make out!

Any that are listed must be statically linked to Apache at compile time.
As mod_so is the Apache module providing dynamic linking, Apache must be
recompiled/reinstalled (if the originally installed version has it) to
get it. This may be why you have not had many replies.

I assume you want to install php (but as you do not say so I don't
know). You could compile php as a CLI/CGI. That way you don't need to
touch Apache. Perhaps not ideal for you but its the only solution I can
think of.

I just manual installed php in my W2K Professional workstation.
Php4isapi.dll is added to the App Mapping and ISAPI Filter in IIS. The
php.ini is in winnt; php4isapi.dll and php4ts.dll are in winnt\system32.

But when calling up a test.php (with only phpinfo() in it) in the
browser all I got is a blank page. Any idea what I might have missed?
Thx.

Hello.

Set up - Solaris 8/Apache2.039/PHP4.2.3/OpenSSL 0.96

I had this set up working quite nicely until i reconfigured PHP with
OpenSSL and now Apache just diplays the code in all text. It still serves
up pages that are solely html fine, and serves up the html that is on the
PHP pages fine(looks horrible, but...). It does not attempt to download
the PHP pages as is usually the case when it does not recognize the
extension.

Does anyone have this working, or should i scrap it and go back to
Apache1.3. I know its expiremental but it worked so flawlessly without
SSL, that i have to assume it is something I did/havent' done.

Thanks In Advance.
Jeff

I see Rasmus' comments here often, and assume that i should go back...but i
wanted to check with all of you first.
