Add the path to the apxs switch... --with-apxs=/path/to/apxs

while I issue this command to configure mysql
./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs
it gave this error
./configure :line 3096:apxs :command not found
configure :error :aporting
What could be the problem.
Note:
Operating system Linux redhat version 9
apache httpd-2.0.40
php 4.3.2
