[PHP-INSTALL] Help: Windows type PHP install

I've managed to install by hand PHP 4.3.3 under Windows 98. As a web server I'm using Apache 1.3.x and tried to install PHP as a module.
It works quite dandy and all except for the fact that I can't pass variables to a PHP script.

Even the form processing examples that come with the manual don't work.
I have followed the steps for manual installation as a module and scripts are processed normally, it even interacts with my mySQL server but when it comes to passing variables between scripts, it doesn't work.

Please help me

Apache 1.3.6
PHP 4.3.3
