Strange problem with PHP 4.3.4 on Solaris 8 with Apache 1.3.27 phpinfo() you can see here http://coder.paco.net/phpinfo.php test scripts here: http://coder.paco.net/test/err.php http://coder.paco.net/err.php when i try to open file (file('filename.ext')) from root dir everything fine, but when from subdir "test" open_basedir restriction error appears. With full path to file all ok, with ./ path also ok. On other host I'm configure open_basedir only to userdir. But the problem still exists. Earlier we tried to install 4.3.3 but there was other errors like this but in every directory. With PHP 4.2.3 everything fine exept security issues with basedir. I tried to check this problem at home on Slackware 9.0 Apache 1.3.27 PHP 4.3 (don't remember :-) All scripts working as expected. All restrictions applies correctly.
