Hi
all,
I have a server
that's running stronhold, running their latest php (4.1.2 I believe), which is
too old for the application I want to run on the server! So, I wanted to upgrade
the server to php 4.3.4 (latest recommended PHP release).
Now, usually I
follow the instructions for vanilla apache here:
To compile php as a
DSO. I notice that the stronghold install does have an 'apxs' directory, but its
httpd.conf is a little different and it doesn't use a php.ini (conf/php4.conf
instead) so I'm a bit concerned about the differences between stronghold and
vanilla apache.
Any
advice/references to doing such an upgrade would be most
welcome!
thanks,
Scott
