I downloaded php5 dev version on my desktop computer.My system is win2k pro chinese version and php under iis5,which was also patched microsoft .net environment.
the install step is:
1. unzip the zip file to c:\php.
2. open iis admin and in application mapping box, I added C:\php\php-cgi.exe .php as extention.
3. copy php.ini-dest to c:\winnt\php.ini.and modify php.ini as below: cgi.force_redirect = 0,then restart iis,write a file with the context:<? phpinfo(); ?>
4. Here is part of the display:
