[PHP-INSTALL] php-4.3.7 problem during build

As I am new to php build, during build process of php-4.3.7 on Platform RH LINUX 3.0 
ES and Apache 2, come across following problem. After this problem the php-4.3.7 build 
failed and no rpmis created.
Any help on resolving will be appreciated..

Requires(rpmlib):rpmlib(CompressedFileName)<= 3.0.4-1 rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) 
<=4.0-1

RPM build errors:
        Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.1912 (%doc)
