I'm afraid that you DO need to declare MySQL. It's not done automatically in PHP 5. IF MySQL support was activated, you would see a block of settings for MySQL in your output shown below, right after the libxml block. You need to uncomment the extension line in your php.ini file for mysqli. And possibly restart your web server after you make the change.
