[PHP-INSTALL] Cannot load /usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp4.so into server

Now I was able to complete the install bit now when I try to launch
appache I have the following:
Cannot load /usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp4.so into server: rtld:
0712-001 Symbol ologof was referenced\n      from module
/usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp4.so(), but a runtime definition\n
of the symbol was not found.\nrtld: 0712-001 Symbol oclose was
referenced\n      from module /usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp4.so(), but
a runtime definition\n      of the symbol was not found.\nrtld: 0712-001
Symbol oerhms was referenced\n      from module
/usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp4.so(), but a runtime definition\n
of the symbol was not found.\nrtld: 0712-001 Symbol ofetch was
referenced\n      from module /usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp4.so(), but
a runtime definition\n      of the symbol was not found.\nrtld: 0712-001
Symbol oflng was referenced\n      from module
/usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp4.so(), but a runtime definition\n
of the symbol was not found.\nrtld: 0712-001 Symbol obndra was
referenced\n      from module /usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp4.so(), but
a runtime definition\n      of the symbol was not found.\nrtld: 0712-001
Symbol oparse was referenced\n      from module
/usr/local/apache2/modules/libphp4.so(), but a runtime definition\n
of the symbol was not found.\n\t0509-021 Additional errors occurred but
are not reported.

after installation of GNU make and GNU gcc 4.0 I have the following
error during make install:
if /app/php/php4-STABLE-200507060435/build/shtool mkdir -p
/usr/local/lib/php; then \

else \
        cat /app/php/php4-STABLE-200507060435/pear/install-pear.txt; \
        exit 5; \
fi

`install-pear-installer'.  Stop.
make: *** [install-pear] Error 2
