Hello Guys, I want to compile PHP 4.4.9 on Red-Hat Linux with FastCGI support but it fails. I've compiled it with the following options:
../configure --prefix=/usr/local/php --enable-fastcgi --with-apxs2=/usr/local/httpd/bin/apxs --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-zlib-dir=/usr/lib/ --enable-versioning --enable-track-vars=yes --enable-url-includes --enable-sysvshm=yes --enable-sysvsem=yes --enable-ftp --enable-calendar --with-config-file-path=/etc --with-gd --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/lib/ --with-png-dir=/usr/lib/ --enable-discard-path --enable-force-cgi-redirect --with-mcrypt --enable-sockets --enable-bcmath --with-freetype-dir=/usr/lib/ But after make and make install (without failures) the command php -v shows me the following: PHP 4.4.9 (cli) (built: Aug 14 2010 18:04:54) Copyright (c) 1997-2008 The PHP Group Zend Engine v1.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2004 Zend Technologies I think it should be (cgi-fcgi) and not (cli). Why it wont work, configure options should be right to compile with fcgi support. I need fast-cgi for lighttpd. Crashdemon
