Are you limiting the link because of security reasons or just for verification against bots?
Without knowing what the application is for the one time link it's hard to give the best advice. What I can say is several sights will send a link with a generated number in it. That link will bring up a page where the email recipient will have to verify their email address. You could also set the link to only work for 24 hours and a 1 time use.
