Hi,
I'm new to php too and I want to learn. Is this the best
website for tutorials? I would like to teach myself but some of the
scripts I've tried to install on my websites just don't work and I
can't figure out why.

I've written in php. www.php.net is very useful, I find.

Java rather than php?
