Lance - what happens if you try a LEFT OUTER JOIN?

That is, is it possible the join is not working on the "last" record
until some other event occurs?
*********************************************

Thanks Mike! That does appear to be the problem although the LEFT OUTER JOIN
didn't solve it. Just to test the join not working theory, I took all
equipment queries out and only selected the last record in the "PIREPS" table
which worked fine.

OK, so now I'm over my head without digging through my SQL reference books ;-)

Thanks, at least I know it's the join causing the problems.

Lance
