Hi there, >> ok, i want to remove an email from a list >> ... >> if the list is serated by commans, that would >> result in this: >> [EMAIL PROTECTED],,[EMAIL PROTECTED],[EMAIL PROTECTED] >> ... >> how can i avoid this or work around it? Do a replace on the result replacing ',,' with ',' seems the easiest to me, but fails if you removed the first or last entry. However, there will never be more than one loose comma at the beginning or end of the line, not too much of a problem.
The method disassembling the string into an array and, after taking out the one to be removed, reassembling the array is the nicest method. Especially as you probably already need to split the string into an array anyway to do something useful with the list of email addresses, isn't it? Next step would be to use a database, but for some simple sites on cheap (free) hosting that is not always possible. Marc ------------------------ Yahoo!
