Hi, >>> when i enter the word "curl" (without the quotes) in a textarea >>> (form--html), the php application quits. >>> >>> has anybody encountered this? this is actually very weird. :(
>> What is the script doing when it quits? > the script dies and shows a regular 403 apache error access forbidden. > but when i place "curl" <- now with quotes, script goes fine. (Slapping my head) That is not what Ian was asking... Anybody can make a page with a textarea and a submit button and not have the application quit. So the question: >> What is the script doing when it quits? Means of course: The textarea has a name, say 'foo' What processing of $_POST["foo"], $_GET["foo"] or $_REQUEST["foo"] is being done in the script that so mysteriously crashes? A snippet of the php code might be useful... Marc ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Get Bzzzy! (real tools to help you find a job).
