I am trying to create a site for this guy I used to work with, and I
have just got a phpBB forum up and running (thanks to the magic of
Yahoo) ... I was glad to find this short-cut to my work as I was having
problems with getting phpMyAdmin and phpBB to connect myself.

NOW he wants a seperate membership registration form, with a
custumizable profile page that will allow registered members to use
many features through their profile (like IMs, friends list, upload
pics, have a notes/journal section, etc etc) that will link to making
them registered in the forum as well. I have created a seperate
registration form, and am working on deciphering the formMail and log-
in "check availablility" things. Before i kill him (a lot of work for
very little payment), can anyone point me in the right direction to
accomplish these tricks? I am trying to teach myself many of the needed
skills, but it gets hard around a full-time job.

If anyone wants to see what I have gotten done so far, here is the link:

the reg page I made:
www.whatsdadilly.com/registration.htm

The forum is there too...

Thanks in advance of reading this ....

Lynn
