Hi Patrick,
I must have worded the question wrong, *grin*.

In all my books, it recommends storing sensitive data (DB passwords etc) below 
root.
I can access this by "../../../test.php" depending on where I'm calling it from.

I thought there maybe a way to automate this, so it will call correctly from 
whichever directory the calling page is in?
