If you're still not clear try thinking of it like this: $one = "banana" $two = "one"
echo $two; // gives "one" but echo $$two; // gives "banana" This is because * PHP looks at "$$two" and, working right to left, substitutes the value of "$two" * "$$two" now becomes "$one" * PHP goes a step further and looks to see what is in "$one" and comes up with "banana" Any clearer? I don't suppose so :-) Ian [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Get Bzzzy!
