I think your problem could be here:
You have:
$query='INSERT INTO registration VALUES (",
'$username','$email', '$password','$first', '$family','$gender',
'$birth', '$address', '$city', '$state', '$country','$phone')";
Try:
$query="INSERT INTO registration VALUES ('',
'$username','$email', '$password','$first', '$family','$gender',
'$birth', '$address', '$city', '$state', '$country','$phone')";

i hope the problem is in this line
$qry = mysql_query ($check) or die ("Could not match data
because '.mysql_error() );
You are passing ur custom message and started with double codes and closed
with single code.
I hope ur problem will be solved.
