Hi,
     Sorry but this is a total eye sore to read after all the line breaks
have been inserted by your e-mail client.

Can you put this up on the net some where as a text file so the we can
download it?

Some one mentioned a script editor and I would have to say that I use an
editor with highlighting when I can't find some stupid typo. Otherwise, I
use notepad or cPannel.

On my system here I have ConTEXT and MetaPad, both freeware and help a great
deal at times of frustration. I also once used another that had a name like
crimson editor but I have not been able to find it again.

I did a quick read of your script before my eyes receded to the back of my
head and here is what I saw.

Some servers require a space after a closing PHP tag so "?><td>" will not
work but "?>  <td>" will.

Some server will also not allow the use of the double quote for array
indexes so myarray["name"] will not work but myarray['name'] will work.

To avoid the above problems I always only use double quotes in output to
Javascript, HTML or PHP string variables.

Example -

$width="100";
echo('<img src="img.jpg" onclick="changeme()" width=" ' . $width . ' "
height=" ' . $_POST['height'] . ' "><br>' . "\n" );

I put in extra spaces so you can tell between single and double quotes. I
hope that covers it?

>From the error message it seem that you are missing a closing parenthesis
")" but anyway put it up as a text file and we can help or even better get a
decent script highlighter.

I work with may different languages HTML, DHTML, Javascript DOM & DOM2, PHP,
MySQL, FLASH on the net and c#, C++, x86 and various forms of BASIC for the
PC along with many proprietary microcontroler coding systems such as AVR,
PIC, Simtell and 99% of my errors relate to syntax. That $#^%^ missing ';'
catches me every time.

Oh Lord bring back the days of the Z80!

PS: some server use CRLF to terminate a line and some just use LF. This may
also cause problems.

Hope this helps, Rob.
