10312006 GMT-6 Rob, I use a include script for that db details. Im not sure what you mean on your second question but, when person accesses your page and the script is called, a single username and password is used no matter if its one or 1000 people signing up. I havent done it any other way at least. I always have a piece of code to check if a username or email address is already in the db. If its a email address, this is an easy process of they just lost or forgot their password. If its a username then they need to check it out to make sure no one else is using it.
