Hello everybody,
I have downloaded and installed the XAMPP and MYSQL ODBC driver etc. it is
working fine and all services are working fine and I have created a sample
database by using PHPMYADMIN. Now I m using the NAMO webeditor to include
database in the web page. The connection to the database is working fine and it
is showing result in the Browser preview. But the result is not exectly as per
my requirement. I explain :
I want to use a database with more then 100 tables, but most of them are of
same type and have only 4 fields each. 1 serial no auto increment 2 Details
in Text, 3 Link for hyperlink , 4 Image to insert Images.
I have created this type of sample Table using PHPMYADMIN in a database.
But in the result web page I want to show only 3 Fields contents.
1. Serial No. 2. Details ( but it should be Hyperlinked from the content of
Link field), 3. Image ( it also should be Hyperlinked from the content of Link
Field)
So the problem is of Hyperlink. I can show the results by linking the Details
fields with Link Field, but the result is that it is showing the records of
Details Field as a hyperlink but it is linked to a non-existing folder in the
root folder of site, and not to the hyperlinks given in the Link Field of
Database.
I think it require some parameters at programming level to show the database
records as hyperlinks.
Another problem is in the Database input webpage.
I want to create a webpage to update the above Database. But all tables from
this single Webpage. By using catagory wise selection option. But I m unable to
include more then one Table in this page.
Also when i am tring to insert a record using this web page, then it is not
updating the Database and also not showing any error.
I am sending u the sample database and webpage files in zipped format plz try
to Solve my problem.
I am not a programmer. I am tring to create this on design level, so plz help
me to solve this problem.
