dear all,
please help me (beginner php and linux),
i have code in asp before, and was done translate to
php, when my php code running under windows its ok can
connect to my database (ms sql 2000). well i need my
php code to be place and run in linux box but the
database must still using mssql 2000 in windows
server. i have read any references before to how can
connect to mssql using php in linux. well i have
follow instructions to install freetds step by step
and the sample php code too from following reference:

using tsql -S ... -U ... was ok ("1>" prompt was
appeared), but the problem is when i have runing/test
the php code, there is no result in the browser, the
borwser is blank (no result from my query in php code
and no error appeared), its seem stop when my php code
trying to connect to mssql (mssql_connect() function).
So what happen ? anyone there can resolve it ? is it
because something step of linux/tds/php configuration
that was missing ? well please guide me, i am still
blind in linux. thx.
