Simple question. Will building a highly dynamic site using MySQL and PHP lag down a server?
I have a site that is hosted by a company using one of those site builder programs, and it is <i>really</i> slow loading. I want to move it to a different server in hopes of speeding it up, and I am thinking of coding it up in PHP, but I am not sure if it would be best language to use.
