I have a client who has an email list in his website with about 1500 people. At times he may need to send out emails to about 800 people. I have written a script that will get the email address and send the mail using the php mail function. It will take the recommended number of emails and send them, then wait the recommended time and automatically send the next batch. My question is what is the recommended amount of recipients I should send with each batch and what is the recommended time I should wait before sending the next batch? Thanks for the help.
