I don't know the correct solution, but base64 is probably not it.
Anyone with a little programming knowledge can easily decode this
information.
You need to consider protecting the information:
* On the server
* In transmission
* On the user's computer

The answers depend on how sensitive the information is.
There is not perfect answer. There are problems with all of
the solutions I have heard of.
You can start by encrypting the data on the server and using HTTPS.
Storing anything (including cookies) on the user's computer will make
it possible for unintended persons to access the data.

Respectfully
Mike Johnston.

Sorry for the top-post.

Hi

You can protect your form data either using base64_encode and base64_decode
functions.

if you want high security then make SSL support that will be good and best
idea.

How do I secure/encrypt my forms so to protect peoples personal
information? Also, I'm thinking on adding a firewall to the site for
extra protection. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Tisha
