Most people create a LAMP server (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and typical installations of Linux include one or more of several open source mail servers (SendMail, Postfix, Exim). If you are trying to locate an email relay (easy for spammers to abuse) then I wonder if you are trying to get this to work on a Windows server. James
