Both of the two replies that you have had so far, require that you already have your server online, which you obviously don't. You used the word "offline" in your question, twice, with two different meanings. I assume that, by "work offline", you mean "work locally, on your own Windows computer". You must have your local Wamp5 server online, to get it to do anything. WAMP5 server online and WAMP5 server offline simply mean that the local server is switched on, or off, on your local computer. You need it to be on, to test your code. Single left click on the "dial" icon, and you get a menu. The bottom item is "put online", just click on that. The dial should move right across to the right - part way for PHP, part way for MySQL. If it doesn't, then single left click again, and click on [Restart All Services]. Try that, anyway, it won't do any harm, and you will see the dial go to the left, as the services shut down, then to the right, as they start up. Then type http://localhost into your browser. -- Pete Clark Sunny Andalucia http://hotcosta.com/Andalucia.Spain
