Thanks James, but I get a syntax error when I use that code. I do like your idea of sending a confirmation email to the sender of the form, but I am not sure exactly how to do that. Diane I don't kno how to do it execution but in practice, you create a confirmation code associated with the user email address, this code will be used in the confirmation. An automatic email is created with a link with the unique confirmation code in the email, they click the link, and you update the user field the database as confirmed.
