Greetings;

I love the extra functionality that cemdb provides, even though I am not
currently logging from that many routers/Cisco boxes.

Most of my logging is to consolidate the logs from many different mail
servers and SMTP gateways, allowing both myself and others to search those
logs when users run into problems, i.e. recipients claiming to have not
recieved email, etc.

Searches ultimately bring me to just a portion of the information that I am
looking for, i.e., I peform a search for [EMAIL PROTECTED] for a given
date/time.
  The search yields just a portion of that transaction, i.e. the portion
whereby the SMTP server gives the information on who the email was for, but
not who sent it nor the postfix cleanup and removal once it has been handed
off/forwarded.

The log that I initially find looks like this:

postfix/local[23638]: [ID 197553 mail.info] E6D6597402: to=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,
relay=local, delay=1, status=sent (forwarded as 4EC2897406)

In this case, I must find the unique ID, in this case either 4EC2897406 or
E6D6597402.

What I would *LOVE* is the ability to perform yet another search based on my
selecting either:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]
E6D6597402
4EC2897406

from the results shown above. The purpose here would be to negate me from
having to memorize this information and make searches far more efficient and
faster.

Are there any plans to add this feature?

Thankyou very much in advance.

.vp
