I would first recommend that you use v2.92a(r13)
Someone on the list should be able to point you to it -- my server's being moved to a new datacenter at the moment so I can't give it to ya :-)
Next, check the contents of syslog2mysql and make sure you set the proper paths and passwords.
I'm installing on Ubuntu Server (Like debian) and I did the followingcp ~/phpsyslogng-2.8/scripts/syslog2mysql.sh /root/ln -s /root/syslog2mysql.sh /etc/init.d/syslog2mysqlchmod 700 /root/syslog2mysql.shupdate-rc.d syslog2mysql defaults 99/etc/init.d/syslog2mysql startWhen I do the last command, it just hangs.If I check my processes from another terminal, it seems to be running fineBut I need it to return, this is especially trouble-some when I'm booting.Any idea what I'm doing wrong?ThanksPS: I tried sending this to [email protected] three times and got undeliverables. Is is just me?
