I fixed the last problem, it was NET::MySQL 0.0.9 - not really working so
great, changed to 0.0.8 - works good.
Now -
I am getting entries in my database from /var/log/messages - however not
from my cisco syslog file /var/log/cisco.log
syslog-ng.conf has the exact export information in it to pipe to SQL
database as stated in the installation file - however still not seeing my
routers appear, this wouldnt be a naming issue or anything like that right?
no DNS should be resolving...hmm...weird.
Any ideas?
