Hey Folks,
I was going to try to work on the software some this weekend and decided to
build a virtual machine to work from.
After getting everything working properly I thought I'd make the VMware disk
available to others.
Details:
Based on PHP-Syslog-Ng v2.9.3L
This is a VMWare-server v1.04 machine configured to run php-syslog-ng
It's based on Ubuntu-server (no X-windows) v7.10 (Gutsy)
I've installed all the necessary components for running the server (apache,
syslog-ng, etc).
I've also installed webmin, you can reach it at https://loghost:10000
The default user's name is "logadmin" with a password of "admin"
I believe you can just extract this to /var/lib/vmware-server/Virtual\
Machines/ and open it from the Vmware console
Once the server starts, just log into the console and get the assigned IP
address, after that, just use ssh/www/etc from outside the virtual box.
You can download it from here:
