I was the person who deleted the note. To be honest, I didn't feel that it added an awful lot to the example that's already on the page — the MIT_KEYS_ASSOC behaviour is already pretty well demonstrated through the different output blocks below the example, and it didn't really cover any additional behaviour beyond that. We do delete a lot of notes (last time I did an analysis, it was somewhere in the order of 80-85% of submitted notes), so please don't take it personally — we've made an effort in the last year to only keep user notes that add significantly to the manual page they're on.
